It looks like Christopher Plummer is going to reprise his starring role in Barrymore in his Toronto hometown today. The 82 year old coming off his oscar winning performance in Beginners (a movie I walked out of by the way despite his and Ewen McGregor’s presence, two of my favorite actors, and long before this film achieved its hype and acclaim—and like the Artist, I am starting to see the reasons for the manufactured overhype.)
If I had seen this before the market closed, I would have loaded up even more.
Plummer, one of my favorite actors, going back to roles in the 60’s with probably my favorite Plummer movie being Silent Partner made in 1978 and set in Toronto. He was 48 then but he played one of the most memorable sociopaths in screen history. Saw the movie on TV and caught it late and probably cut up but it definitely has a chance to make my top 10 of all time definitely top 12. PAR NONE (wow that just came out my head)
LOL… never under estimate the manipulation the PPT can do! It’s obvious now that they are going to hold this pig up until the close today. We will probably close around flat from the looks of it. But, this sets up next Tuesday to be a very ugly day!
Odds are very high that today is going to be a big down day. All the short term charts are extremely overbought now and unless the PPT comes in and holds this boulder up… it’s going to fall off a cliff!
