All I can say for now about the Knowing is that in the trailer I did notice the O of KnOwing form an annular solar eclipse. A sign of the end times for now???
The movie as it has been relayed to me is known for its predictive powers. Like Sorcerer, in its (23) explosive premonitions.
I would have to see Hunger Games 3 times before I could even get a feel for that movie. I have seen it 1 1/2 times. I would also need a pen and a pad of paper so I document which district gets killed by which district and document in which order they get killed and that’s just the numbers out in the open. Too many numbers in that one.
The Raven is the one I want to see again. So much backstory and subtext in that one. It also makes the viewer go and read Poe’s work and see how it is incorporated into the plot. Ie his girlfriend is Annabel Lee, the main character in one of his famous poems. Check out her gravestone as well.
People are talking about the movie “The Hunger Games”, and the rituals it has in it. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m sure it’s full of them. (replied back to you)
No bull flips today in any index. And crude oil had the easiest chance for a bull flip just by basically closing positive and it dropped back nearly to its Friday lows. Euro did manage to make new lows for the move. Gold down.
A certain little indicator though has managed to work off its extreme oversold condition and now has some firepower for a continued downmove.
And I now remember the Cobra statistic that I mentioned below. It was a negative tick reading with a move of 1.5% or higher that was basically seen near the October 4 bottom. Yesterday’s tick was positive but barely (around plus 350), unusual for such a large move but the rally felt pretty weak anyway until the final hour. And unusual on a day when all of the averages rallied into the close and closed at their highs.
I put up a special post elsewhere. Some fluff, some notso fluff. Some movie reviews for the Raven and Knowing. Don’t know if Billy Bob is still invited to the party.
I’ll probably do some stuff on the Knowing here later but haven’t researched too much yet on that movie.
The market is dropping nicely right now and the dollar is on fire! It seems too easy to be short right now. It really feels like a “Bear Trap” to me, as I think this is only a “B” wave down to reset the overbought charts. This implies a gap down in the morning tomorrow followed by a “C” wave up the rest of the week.
I’m thinking this because of the “3 Day Holiday Weekend” that is coming up because next Monday the market is closed for Memorial Day. Everything looks so bearish right now with market down so I could be wrong on this and we just continue on down to the FP on the SPX of 1267 by the end of the week.
However, if my feelings, gut instinct, and ability to think like a gangster is right… we’ll rally the rest of the week after a move down in the morning tomorrow. I know this long “topping tail” on the daily chart is ugly, but I don’t trust these gangsters. I’m thinking they will squeeze out all the bears that went short today and push up higher until Friday.
Then when all the bears get squeezed out and throw in the towel on Friday (as they don’t want to hold short over a long 3 day weekend) they will all be tricked when we open next week after the holidays. Since Monday will be closed, they will open up on Tuesday, which is the 29th!… a ritual “eleven” day!
This all assumes we only gap down tomorrow for the completion of the “B” wave down and rally back up the rest of the week. The other scnario is that we continue down all week to hit the 1267 FP on SPX. Tough call here as this sell off into the close could the start of another ugly wave down?
But, I’m just not seeing it in the charts or feeling in my gut. This seems to obvious right now, and that’s one thing the gangsters aren’t. If they were then we’d be rich and not them. They are very, very good at stealing the sheeps’ money and I’ll think they’ll surprise them all again.
It’s a turn date according to the spiral guys’ chart, but more then that it should complete a “C” wave up with “A” wave up starting yesterday, and “B” wave down happening now. Notice that the market isn’t really selling off that much but instead choping sideways. It’s making a “Bull Flag” while the overbought short term charts reset.
That’s why I’m looking for a pop higher tomorrow morning. They will likely take the overnight futures down tonight to get them oversold so they can pump it tomorrow morning. My expected level is around 1338 spx… just around that previous support levels from the bottoms in February and April.
Today should be a “doji” day from the looks of it, and that’s common after a big up day. Call this a “pause” day as the market resets all the overbought charts and gets them pointing back up for another push higher.
Sunday’s solar eclipse was the first one to appear over the U.S. in 18 years which was the last incarnation of Saros 128, the 57th version.
There will be a total solar eclipse over the US in 2017 so get your crash hats on for that one.
The last mega-total solar eclipse was back in July 2009 and crossed over Shanghai and put the B wave top in for the Shanghai Index.

My thoughts… “Pop and Drop” tomorrow morning!
