Arrggh… I’m a little early again on the short. They are clearing out stops as I expected, but I still see the market going down after this ends (and we are 99% done I believe).
This market is so close to falling over the edge that I can just smell it! I don’t think it can last more then an hour at most… more likely it will roll within the next 30 minutes.
We are waiting on the 5 minute chart to reset and point back up. The 15 minute chart is already pointing up and should give us that final push up to fill the gap this morning and put in a higher high…. patience.
There is an 8:00 am FP on the SPY showing 118.74. I don’t know if that will be the low, and then a bounce to fill the gap, and then back down… of if we just continue down past it?
I’m looking for a “higher high” at some point today before the selling starts. I’ll be waiting to go short there. The odds of selling off today without first making a “higher high” then yesterday are extremely low. It is rare to see the market sell off after an “all up day” that closed at the highs. Therefore, I’m playing the odds, and they tell me that we’ll go up higher then yesterdays’ close before selling off hard.
