If rates jumped in a shock event, why would you hold gold?

I’m still wondering how gold can go down to that FP of 935 if the market crash from the dollar being devalued? You’d think it would go up in fear and panic.

Yeah, I was tired (still am… going to bed soon). As for downside targets… I really don’t know? It sounds crazy to think that it could fall all the way down to the 106 spy FP from a few months back, but this dollar devaluation could easily drop this a 1,000 Dow points very quickly.
Short term… maybe a retest of the 1173 bottom? I’m just guessing here as once this news is released anything can happen? I think it’s going to surprise everyone when it starts falling.
