For all the money that is being printed. Silver and Gold prices aren’t moving up very fast. Dollar index is about the same.
What’s it gonna take for Silver & Gold to gain some momentum?
Unfortunately it probably won’t be creeping up little by little, I think it will be more of a “sleeper” one day it’s trading at $29 then the next it’s trading at $47. A “monumental” event may trigger this too. The Euro comes first.
At this point it’s frustrating. How much faith do people really have in the stock market? Or do people just enjoy the “free money”. The path we are on will have future cataclysmic effects. Yet it seems like no one cares and people are walking around like complacent zombies.
Gang I see no point in doing a video update as nothing much has changed. The market is still overbought, but with the extremely light volume I don’t see anything happening.
Probably more of the same slow grind higher, but no sell off until we reach the FP on the DIA. So unless we have a 300 point rally tomorrow, the upside target shouldn’t be reached this week… hence we won’t crash over the weekend.
I’d like to see them wait until the first of the year at least… before they steal all the sheep’s money again. So for now I think it will be fine, as long as we stay under that FP level tomorrow. Then we can all rest easy over the weekend, as I don’t expect the “False Flag” event (whatever it is?) to happen.
Yes, I agree with your target. Matching up my DIA FP with with the spx should put it around 1280-1300 tops… so yeah, that’s about right. Good luck to us both.
Doubtful eating Christmas dinner with a crash beforehand.. Up around 1277 will make me think a pullback will be healthy for the market. When we do go down next year it should be a dousie……….g.l.
Robert, do you have an exit target in mind? While I don’t think the market will hit the DIA FP tomorrow, which means no Christmas Crash, I do see it hitting…. possibly next week? Just wondering if you also are looking for a certain upside target.
This chart is from Cobra’s blog (a few posts back). The number that Lindsey Williams mentioned was a whopping… 8280 to 1, selling versus buying (as reported by sentimentrader.com for the period of November 15th-19th).
Now I know the data is old now, but if anything.. I expect it to be even more insider selling now, as the top is almost in. I just hope they push it out until early next year and don’t pop it 300 points tomorrow… hitting the FP, and forcing me to go short over a holiday weekend.
I really don’t want the time decay, as I play options. The ideal time to hit the print is on a Monday, and then let the market crash the rest of the week. Will they be so kind as to hit it then? I doubt it.
Maybe the boys are using it to ramp up the close and then exit 10 minutes later. A Million shares IN/OUT for a 4 cent difference = 4 Million to move the market up, to support the other gazillion shares, just to gap up the next day.

high or low volume not relevant during silly season. Only PRICE pays. Don’t fight the FED………
Strong market. 🙂 low volumen 🙂 Dec 2009 r
Strong market. Next two days very bullish seasonals. Santa Claus rally continues………….
It’s hard too say what the gangsters are doing, but one thing still stands out… “the insiders are selling at record paces”!
