Yes, it appears this video is referenceing the approaching grand ’87 ritual.
‘Tis the season as evidenced by Adam Yauch emerging from Room XXX at 59 seconds into the video. Then a few shots later he is seen fleeing from the room but the long shot shows it is now Room 216 and 217# from the next door can be seen in the shot as well. (21) 67,,,, the infamous 67 combo or 42……2×21===42 or 21×2…The Boiling Point# now as we have progressed to the year of the BOILING POINT.
A little later as the chase progresses to the motel’s stairs there is a sign in the background. Something like:
Weight
Watchers (this video is very fuzzy so it’s hard to see anything clearly when it’s
paused)
It also appears that Yauch aka MCA (13-3-1 or 44 or 24???) is the one who is thrown from the LA River bridge overpass. (This was edited from the MTV Version)
At 2:31, there is another sign in the background as one of the Beastie Cops gets out of his cop. This is pretty blurry too but I seem to be able to make it out and if it is what it appears to be then it is definitely numerologically appropriate.
It also appears that Yauch is the one who is tied up next to the bomb.
This video was directed by Spike Jonze who at the time was the Spielberg of video directors but he has gone onto feature films.
MTV gave this video a sort after the fact MTV video award in 2009 as best video never to ever have won an award. There are probably deep hidden meanings in there that I haven’t even come close to uncovering.
There were Beastie Boy retrospectives and tributes all over this weekend including bands playing BB covers at the Weenie Roast while all of the NPR deejays played BBsets. In one of the songs, I clearly hear them sing that they registered a 6.7 on the Richter Scale.
Well gang…. does anyone have anything to say? Any thoughts on how high we go up on this bounce? I think the move up from the 1342 low on ES last night until now is an A wave, with B down likely into the close today… followed by C up all day Tuesday, and a simple “pop and drop” open on Wednesday to complete the pattern.
If I had to guess, I’d say the market will be overbought by late Tuesday or early Wednesday… leaving Thursday up to Bernanke to save (or not save… that is the question?). With Thursday also being a ritual “eleven” day, and with the weekly chart looking ready to puke I still think this week will be ugly.
