Japan’s Nikkei 225 index fell marginally to 8,430.32. Hong Kong’s Hang
Seng Index fell 0.7 per cent to 18,503.67, while South Korea’s Kospi
lost 1.1 per cent to 1,822.73. Australia’s S&P ASX 200 lost 1.2 per
cent to 4,091.30. Benchmarks in Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia were
also lower.

Years ago when I was in college, I thought some people were crazy for not retiring. Now I can’t possibly see myself retiring, at least from trading. No matter how much I try to stay away from the market now, I’m addicted. I’m sick! I need help!

spx finished up 10 cent. that’s less of a price move, than some of my $14 stocks i follow..spx is $1200 and change. that was brutal. no movement.

most dow 30 type companies are showing 10% growth for 2012.
some of
these stocks are  getting priced at 2012 eps, right now. that’s the jan
effect. most new yearly eps estimates change over in jan.

Hey Gang, I’m not doing a new post this weekend.  Sorry, I’m just taking time off for the holidays and working on other stuff.  I’m not expecting much this week anyway as the volume should still be very light, with most traders still on vacation… which I’m one of them!  LOL!

Feel free to continue posting comments with your updates and thoughts as I do still read them.  Things should be back to normal by the first week of January though, and I’ll be back to posting regularly.
